NCSP Accreditation
NCSP (National Competency Skills Programme) is the HV jointing accreditation used by UK DNOs. It covers 11kV, 33kV and 132kV cable jointing and is one of the most valuable accreditations a cable jointer can hold.
What NCSP covers
High-voltage cable jointing across the major DNO networks — UKPN, SSE, Western Power Distribution, Northern Powergrid, SP Energy Networks and Electricity North West.
How to get it
NCSP is delivered by EU Skills-approved training centres with extensive on-the-job mentoring. Expect a multi-year journey from trainee to fully accredited HV jointer.
