NCO Accreditation
NCO (National Competency Operative) is the LV jointing accreditation used across UK DNOs (Distribution Network Operators). Required for most low-voltage cable jointing work.
What NCO covers
Low-voltage cable jointing, service connections and disconnections, mains and link box work. Continuous assessment by an accredited assessor.
Progression
NCO is a stepping stone to NCSP for HV jointing. Many jointers progress from NCO through NCSP over several years of on-the-job training.
