CSCS Card
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) is the UK construction industry's universal site access card. Almost every utility, civils and telecoms site requires a current CSCS card for entry.
Card levels
Labourer (Green), Skilled Worker (Blue), Advanced Craft (Gold), Supervisor (Gold), Manager (Black) and Visitor. The right card level depends on your role and qualifications.
How to get it
Pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment test for your level, hold the right NVQ/SVQ or equivalent, then apply online. Cards are valid for 5 years.
